Indian food butter chicken without chicken

India – Butter non-chicken (vegetarian)

Make the naan bread:

  1. Mix and let the dough rest (> 30 min):
    • 300 g plain flour
    • 100 ml yoghurt
    • 50 ml milk
    • 7 g yeast
    • sugar
    • salt
    • baking powder
  2. Flatten and roast in the oven (~ 5min / ~ 275 C)
  3. Paste with:
    • butter

Make the butter non-chicken:

  1. Fry (~ 5 min):
    • 1 onion
    • 400 ml tomato
    • 400 g (boiled) cauliflower
  2. Add and simmer (~ 10 min):
    • 200 ml cream
    • 100 g butter
    • 150 g (crushed) cashew nuts
    • salt
    • pepper
    • sugar
    • garlic powder
    • cumin
    • paprika
    • curry
    • turmeric
    • cinnamon
