Italian food gnocchi with basil pesto

Italy – Gnocchi (vegetarian)

5 persons – 4,40 € per person

Make the gnocchis with pesto:

  1. Smash and mix the pesto:
    • 2 garlic gloves
    • 150 g pine nuts
    • 1 bunch basil
    • 100 g parmesan cheese
    • olive oil
    • salt
  2. Mix and shape the pasta dough:
    • 7 (boiled and mashed) potatoes
    • 500 g flour
    • 1 egg
    • salt
    • pepper
  3. Cook the pasta in boiling water (~ 5 min):
    • water
    • salt
    • (water must be boiling all the time, so don’t overgrowd the pot)
  4. Fry the pasta (~ 5 min):
    • olive oil
    • butter

Make the tomato salad:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 chili
  • parsley
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
